We are slowly beginning to get caught up…I’m in a roll. The real question is can I keep it up.
This week we continued to work on sitting skills and are hoping to start introducing solid foods. So on Superbowl Sunday we headed out to pick a high chair. (The stores were pretty empty even though it was only 3pm!)
We decided a traditional high chair was too big and bulky for our house, so we went with a chair that attaches to the table and can be easily taken with us for traveling.
The actual seat part also spins 360 degrees so we can easily have him face us when he is eating.
At this point he has only sat in the chair and played with the monkey you see in the picture…he really seems to have fun with it. Next up I’m making baby puréed foods for him to begin trying out.
While we were out, he had his first experience sitting in the high chair at a restaurant. It actually went really well and he seemed to enjoy the new point of view. We switched him back to the car seat when he had his bottle though because he couldn’t quite understand that he needed to tip his head back.
One more favorite picture of the week…snuggled up with daddy!

Beautiful baby boy!
